This highly desirable set is a beautiful, fully inventoried and organized professional restoration by Pandys from the mid to late 1990s. The case has been repainted and parts replated or repainted as necessary. Inserts and manual are also high quality reproductions. I have used it periodically over the years to build some of the models that I have presented here on the site, so there are minor screw head marks around holes on some of the parts, but otherwise the set presents as new. New, unused, factory-fresh late 1990's version of the No. 4A "Collect Box" supplemental set. The single aqua blue vacuformed plastic tray holds a total of 100 parts. In addition to trunnions, curved strips, pulleys, and other small parts, the main features of this set are the large, pressed metal wheels (painted black) with riveted-on hubcaps (painted red), and an assortment of flexible, red plastic plates of various sizes. A monochrome instruction manual with a glossy full color cover is included.

This is a lightly used, nearly complete No. 3 set, the largest set in the Mignon line. The aluminum parts show little or no sign of their age, nor does the original manual. The box is mostly intact and in overall good condition (some of the lid corners are split, but can be repaired). The set contains a total of 1447 parts in over 150 different styles, the vast majority of which are made from aluminum. This, along with the unique design of the parts and the small scale of the system (based on 6 mm hole spacing), sets Mignon apart from other systems.
